Cars for Smiles Andorra – 14 June 2025
THE 2ND EDITION OF CARS FOR SMILES ANDORRA HAS GIVEN FIFTEEN TEENAGERS FROM VULNERABLE BACKGROUNDS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CO-DRIVE A SUPER CAR AT THE ANDORRA PAS DE LA CASA CIRCUIT
This boutique event took place today, Saturday 14 June, and brought together around fifty people around sports cars of legendary brands.
It is a charity and solidarity project that aims to support and bring hope and joy to this group of teenagers and their families.
The donation, thanks to the sponsors and 100% of the drivers’ registration fees, was €3,000 and will go to the Creu Roja Andorrana summer camp project.
This initiative has once again brought together fifty people around sports cars of legendary brands, consolidating itself as an event for solidarity and enthusiasm. With this second edition, Cars for Smiles Andorra is firmly seeking to consolidate its position as a fixed and eagerly awaited event on the Principality’s social and solidarity agenda.
The event, which has been held in Barcelona and also in Madrid and Salamanca for more than 11 years now, brought together fifteen teenage co-drivers and the corresponding drivers. Some of the participating cars were exclusive vehicles from legendary brands such as Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, Nissan, Porsche and Rolls Royce.
The purpose of this project is to create excitement and smiles for young people who are vulnerable for whatever reason, as well as to support their families. In addition to providing them with a unique and motivating experience, the money raised through the donations made by the drivers (owners of the vehicles) goes 100% to the summer camp project ‘Disconnect to connect’ organised by the Andorran Red Cross for these same teenagers. In total, €3,000 has been raised.
In addition, from next week until 30 June, thanks to the collaboration of Gol Solidari, it will be possible to participate in the charity auction of gloves signed by the Moto2 rider, Arón Canet, who is tied for first place on points in this season’s World Championship. All the proceeds will also be donated to the Andorran Red Cross once the auction is over.
The day began at 9.30 a.m. with the arrival of the first cars at the meeting point (Plaça dels Dos Valires in Escaldes-Engordany) and continued with the presentation of the project and a breakfast in the Andbank conference room. At around 11.45 a.m., the car left for the Circuit Andorra Pas de la Casa. From 1 p.m. onwards at the circuit, several rounds of filming and experiences were held on board the supercars, with the participation of the teenagers as co-drivers. The event continued with a lunch at the circuit itself, and ended with a snack at the Roc Blanc Hotel in Escaldes-Engordany, where the street in front of the hotel had been cut off to allow the participating vehicles to park.
Since 2015, Cars for Smiles has generated a positive impact in the cities of Barcelona, Salamanca, Madrid and today it has been repeated here in Andorra. Since its inception, Cars for Smiles has been able to raise more than 130,000 euros by supporting 28 projects from 18 different organisations.
This second edition of Cars for Smiles Andorra 2025, would not have been possible without the confidence of our sponsors: Circuit Andorra Pas de la Casa, MyAndBank, MS Scuderia, Henkam Interiorismo, River and Total Energies (Grup Sant Eloi).
